Being lazy is not a crime!

According to my friends, mainly Kian Yong, Jun Yaik and Sheldon, I’m way too lazy. Way, way too lazy.

For the past 19 years that I had walked this Earth, I always thought that it’s normal for anyone to be this lazy. Till that fateful day when I discovered that I was way too lazy. My friends were amazed that anyone could be this lazy! They were so amazed that if now or in the future I have to name a trait of me that I’m very proud of, it will definitely be my laziness. No doubt about that at all, sir.

So how lazy am I? It seems like I’m the only one among my circle of friends (otherwise known as circle of trust) who will refuse to shower because I think it’s a waste of energy to stand in the toilet for that 5-10 minutes, refuse to eat because I’m lazy to walk to the dinner table, choose watching TV over sleeping because it takes time and a little effort to fall asleep but watching TV is simply just, watching.

You didn’t read that wrong — I’m lazy to sleep! Then when I was prompted why I slept while having lessons or in my laboratory, I actually replied that comparing doing work to sleeping, sleeping wins hands down because it takes lesser efforts to do so. I can’t believe myself.

And this explains why I’m always so lazy to go out. I would reject 90% of all invitations to go out and have fun! I’m too lazy to walk around. I am so desperate to know that anyone is as lazy as I am that when people confide in me that they feel the same some times too, I will always seek comfort knowing that I’m not really alone — I’m just super lazy and they are normal lazy.

I guess being lazy isn’t all that bad. I get to save money, and have more time with myself. Whatever, I’ve ran out of excuses. Too lazy to think so spare me. I’m just lazy and you shouldn’t complain; I didn’t complain you’re too sporty. Being lazy is not a crime! So don’t whine!

Besides I get to idolise someone so totally different from everyone else — Garfield. He’s my Idol. The one whom which I seek to learn from. His art of goofing off is so way beyond me that I grovel before him. He’s so natural with being lazy that the term Garfield defines the word lazy.

And one day, I’ll overtake him. Watch out for me, I’ll be the Next Big Thing in town… that is if I’m not too lazy to work for that title.
