Burning Flames II
After so long, and after it had been shown in the TV for a long time… I’d finally finished the VCD.
Nice show with very happening plots and character developments, but the ending was abit too brief. So Yiu Yiu’s father just died in a very big fire while he saved his brother, during the last 10 minutes of the show. And then the adults tried keeping Yiu Yiu in the dark, but in the night of that very same day, Yiu Yiu just sat at her father’s bed and weeped when her uncle came into the room to see how she was doing. Very sad! Blerg.
I think Hong Kong directors and story-writers like to have sad endings for shows, perhaps to let viewers have a deep impression of the show maybe. But I believe I’m capable of being envious of a happy ending - and also many others too.
