MY Sunday Morning…
Wanna know how I spent yesterday morning? Read on.
I woke at 1030 to get ready for registration at my favourite clinic.
With everything set up, and being the usual asshole like I am, I thought it would be cool to be out in the drizzles without an umbrella, and so I did.. only to regret it not long later.
The drizzle transformed almost suddenly into a heavy downpour, and I was halfway to the clinic so going back would make me a total moron, so I didn’t. And I seeked shelter under the nearest bus stop for the next half hour. Great.
Finally I decided the rain wasn’t being lenient, so after that wasted half hour, I ventured to the clinic only to get myself drenched, winds piercing into my skin, and freezing my ass off. And upon entering the clinic, I was shocked by the amount of patients… They almost seemed like they had intentionally waited for Dr. Sim to return from his trip. WTF? I’m serious!
At any rate I got my queue number, 26, and was told it would take roughly 2 hours. I was like, “omg..” So I left the clinic, and out into the rain… again. What did I do to deserve this anyway, having to go in the rain again. o_O I should have just brought an umbrella… :/
Yea, thanks god I got home, changed into something dry and watched my recorded show, Mighty Joe Young, from Saturday. Didn’t get to watch it due to guild war. It’s a nice show that I had liked since a long time ago anyway. :-)
All right, time for my consultation and once again I headed back to the clinic - this time with an umbrella. I rock. The rain couldn’t get me no more this time. I was like a fearless soldier into the rain. Not for long though. Soon I discovered it was tough to handle the umbrella in the strong winds, I’m serious. Shit happened, I ended up almost like I didn’t carry an umbrella anyway. LOL. It was a long time since I ever carried an umbrella… but I’m glad it’s over now.
So I reached the clinic after what seemed like ages. Finally, luck was on my side because the next person on queue WAS me! Thank you whichever Luck was on my side. And the whole thing ended in half an hour and I was back home snugged under the blanket having my nap.
I didn’t get my blackcurrent lozenges, crap. Dr. Sim said I would be getting tablets too. And I had my MC toady, which explains why I’m home at 1836HR instead of staying in school till 2000HR. ^^ Oh man, I felt like I am abusing my MC; but I like the power.
And that’s how I spent my Sunday morning, usually in bed unless otherwise stated, like yesterday. :-)
