Friday.
I hadn’t gone to my Friday lecture in a long time. So much so that I didn’t remember having that lesson if I weren’t prompted by Eric today about whether or not I was going, when he called me to remind me to call up this certain lady from ImagineCup who handles our mails. So that she would (eventually) remember to e-mail us the documents we needed to apply for an official leave, which she had delayed for a few days now. And till now, as I’m writing, I haven’t received it. Though it means I can call up again, and get to hear her so very cute voice once more, it also means that what she promised as “I’ll do it right away” didn’t happen, and it’s very disappointing and utterly irritating to be lied to three times.
So I spent my Friday afternoon in the lab, trying to convert my school homepage into a css/xhtml one. A conversion that wasn’t too successful when it came to the third column which apparently went beyond what I could do. I’ll say it would had been an identical conversion if it weren’t the funny technique used in planning the site layout with tables. Anyway, I had it 80% done with what I could. I’ll post up if you’re interested to take a peep, soon.
