... is where Sunny Wong writes about nothing in particular and everything in general.

The Young Cop

There’s a TV drama series that’s showing on local television station Channel 8 named “The Young Cop” every weekday at 7PM.

It’s a sequel to a previous story that’s about a 9-year-old magistrate and I think it is pretty good despite having a rather simple story. In the entire show, besides solving some cases(not very detailed either) for the civillians and winning great respect, the main story didn’t cover much of the missing fan (and it even ended without getting it back!). And it didn’t even end with a neat conclusion so I’m probably expecting a 3rd season; and hopefully there is.

Great time to spend an entire Sunday watching it, that’s right, it’s very entertaining - leaving me wanting more with the story. 30 episodes of 45 minutes each, all right, take away a few hours for skipping through some parts.

Time to face a new day tomorrow and some project submissions, and time to get done and over with them.

Oh great, mondays. ’nuff said.

Hi… you talked ’bout The Young Cop and something ’bout it being a sequel. Could you tell me the title of the first season please? By the way, have you finished watching the entire show? Who did Xu Lian go with in the end? I hope it’s not Fengshen Ying De (-___-”) Thanks! =)

No, it’s not Feng Shen Yi De - she just left without killing the Emperor and at the very ending, the Emperor ordered the young magistrate(sorry, couldn’t remember his name anymore) to continue on his hunt for Xu Lian.

Yes, I’d finished the show.

And the title of the previous series goes like “jiu sui xian tai ye”. Like you would probably have guessed - I don’t know the english translation. It means “a magistrate of age nine”. And with that said, bear in mind that the actors are different. The young magistrate was played by “Chao Jun” if I recalled correctly.
