I need backup!
Warning : If you’re an absolutely mosquito-lover of any sort, because of any reason, you may find this post disturbing.
But of course, if you’re an mosquito-hater, whether to extreme extends or not, you will most probably enjoy reading this post as much as I did writing it!
You’ve been warned!
Seems like I just lost the battle-of-the-century involving the mosquitoes and me. Third wave was announced ineffective; I hadn’t got back the ownership of the room yet. They seem to be combat-trained to withstand great amount of insecticides for long hours - at least some did. And every attempt to kill them with insecticides only seems to make them strong, like the saying goes “What doesn’t kill you only make you stronger“. And this means the more attempts I take, whatever survive will be greater nightmare. Now this is scaring me.
Ever since the dry spells came, the mosquitoes seem to favour my house a lot. Well maybe every other house is having the same problem but I just feel like mine contain at least 90% of the mosquito population in the country already. Yes, so thanks to me, you lucky (insert negative nouns here) out there are enduring the shared other 10% while I’m fighting against the dedicated 90%.
Up to date, I think I’m losing an estimated 10ml of blood every day. If this goes on I might die of major blood loss soon (any blood donations?). And the offensive party suffers only one casualty which I had managed to take down with my bare hand when it was attacking me in the dark, and chances are it didn’t sense my almighty palm coming down at it. But I didn’t pick up whatever that were killed in the air strikes with my insecticide when I swept the floor so I can’t count my victims. Perhaps the living ones picked them back for memorial burial ceremony, who knows.
At any rate, I need better insecticides. Every air strike I took were lengthened to make it more effective, but I’m still having them in the room! Need a better strategy, or longer air strikes. I need to find the spawn place and stop the source. Yes that’s what I will do. And at the same time, more air strikes await.
Right now I can imagine the mosquitoes having a headquarter with a networked computer and the leader grinning while reading this post. I won that human! Let’s move on to world domination.
