Borrowed time.

For this rather busy past week, I had been living in borrowed time. Juggling it between friends, games, and WSS lab sessions — it wouldn’t have been so bad if WSS isn’t in the picture because I would get enough sleep without having to wake up on time for it.

So what’s borrowed time? What the hell am I even talking about? You might be thinking. Who wouldn’t? In laymen’s term, it’s just like how credit cards work; you pay with future money — money that you hadn’t even earned but someone out there had decided that you’re capable of earning it in future and so you get to use it.

So borrowed times mean that you’re using time from the future and similar to credit cards, you will have to pay back.

And this borrowed times mean you skip your normal sleeping habits to gain more time for the present, from the future. Say, in 3 days you sleep every night for 8 hours. But you don’t do that because you need to borrow time, so you sleep later, maybe 10 hours after your normal sleeping habits and that’s borrowing future time. The sleeping after the 10 hours is used to return the time you borrowed, hence borrowed time.

And while you’re wondering why in the name of anyone would I post this rather irrelevant entry, I just want to tell you that life’s been rather hectic until today when I skipped everything and had a very good sleep. And I’m back to explain why I didn’t have the time to blog. And I was feeling philosophical thinking about this borrowed time theory… just had to scribble it out somewhere.

Oh yea.
