One without another.
A few days ago, as usual I was hungry at around 2 o’clock in the morning and I had to settle the hunger. So I went to the kitchen and took out the butter from the fridge, only to discover that there was no more bread. So I had to make do with instant noodles — tastes better but more times the efforts usually equals forget it.
Right now, I’m hungry again. And as usual, I checked if there was any loaf of bread available. YES! There were loaves and loaves of them… you won’t believe unless you’ve seen it like I did. What a great day. But wait, there’s no more (peanut) butter or jam in the fridge and cupboard. Tell me about it.
Sweet.
I wonder what my parents were thinking when they bought that many loaves of bread. Interesting. Well, right now I can only make do with plain bread… and a little something maybe, we’ll see.
(I still love my parents for the efforts they took to buy the bread — I’m too lazy to. Thanks Dad and Mom. Love you two like I always do.)
