City Of Angels
I had just completed yet another show that I like alot — City Of Angels — released circa 1998.
Nicholas Cage plays an angel in Los Angeles where the world is constantly visited by angels that mortals can’t see. One day in the operating room a surgeon, played by Meg Ryan, sees Cage while one of her patients is dying. Cage falls in love with her and after some inner struggle encounters her again. Cage eventually decides that he wants to be human in order to have a real relationship with her.

The concept of angels living among us really intrigues me. (Please don’t go into details with angels and devils and ruin the entire romance plot, thanks.)
I also love how Seth(Nicholas Cage) became a human again just to be with Maggie(Meg Ryan), and how he didn’t regret his choice when Maggie died in a car accident by saying something that really touches me alot : “I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss of her mouth, one touch of her hand, than an eternity without it…one.”
And if there’s one word that has to be used to describe this show, it would be touching.
