My excuses.
With reference to a previous post “Being lazy is not a crime“, I have updates now.
Recently I have been reminded of the many excuses that I always made up reasons that I used when I do not want to cannot attend some outings that were planned. Much of these had in one or more occasions been understood as being lazy or relunctance to hang out together; so now I shall take the opportunity to clarify things!
And it really helps now that I’m reading a list of my excuses reasons that Philbert had generously compiled over the years much to my amusement for a while and currently it has 22 items.
And I will list them as exactly they are presented in the file he sent me in, in their full intended glory. Please note that the words embraced with curly brackets [()s] are thoughts of list-maker and has absolutely nothing to do with me, and everything after the brackets are my thoughts.
It goes something like : Reason (Philbert’s thoughts) — My thoughts.
When you’re ready, I’m ready. Here goes.
- Tired / Too early ( POPULAR! ) — I’m a human! There’s nothing wrong in being tired or thinking that some time is too early to wake up just to go out and have fun!
- No money — Oh yea, I don’t work, where else would I be getting the money from? So being poor is totally valid at all times.
- Mother dun let me go. — All right, it used to happen alot but for a long time it hasn’t but I’m just so used to using this as an excuse not to go out. It makes me feel filial and then able to exclude myself from outings at the same time, why not?
- Family Gatherings/ Birthdays/ Outings ( how many times can one use this? /gg) — It happens!
- Dun feel like going / Not interested ( as usual~~) — Tell me I’m not alone. This sympton hits everyone at times, real hard.
- Act afk / didn’t c ur type. — Total accusation I say! I will never admit to doing this, again!
- I got smth on. ( forever 1 !) — Sure, tell me you never had a date planned beforehand.
- Oversleep. (this one power too!!) — Hello? This is draco we’re talking about?
- Alarm clock spoil / mother din wake me up — We ought to blame the clock, or the clock maker for this; because the clock failed to wake my mother up!
- Lazy ( omg dis is soooooo sarneeeee /heh ) — Fine, looking up the thesaurus didn’t help in finding a replacement for that word.
- Brush fish teeth ( contributed by the owner itself!) — Now this is something I made up that felt so cool, even for a while. It was worth the shot when it worked a couple of times! Tell me about it!
- Piyo : “MY SISTER NOT AT HOME TO GIVE ME MONEY” (HEHE) — I used to live off my sister and now that I think back, that was rather silly; I’m better not going out at all!
- LEG PAIN / BLISTER ( purposely ownself go make his leg pain 1 ) — I am absolutely not masoschistic. Someone is out to ruin my reputation!
- Wash Fish Tank (Regular Excuse) — Cool and responsible aquarist, don’t you think so?
- ChoCo go i go ( means hes telling u he dun wan to go) — He didn’t feel important that his decision affected mine! And he had to use it to hurt me again, and again. How sad is that?
- i mummy boy :> (what a lan jiao face after tat lame excuse!) — Just refer to #3 and we’re done with that.
- duno how to go! (how tard) — Do I look like I was borned with street directory pre-installed or something?
- act to create internal conflict den pretend dun go. (not bad. quite impressed) — Couldn’t disagree with what he has to say.
I’m so impressed with my list of reasons that I give when refusing to go out! And we’ll see what we can do about this laziness that is actually the cause of why these reasons started, and then continue with my resolution of self-improving. Man, they say knowing your mistakes is the first step… to fixing them, and I am with them!
