Side-effects, or not?
As far as I can recall, all the prescriptions that I had before for treating runny nose/flu virus always made me drowsy. Upon consumption, my brain would become almost numb and I would be too tired to think or do anything, sort of like a hangover. Ironically, whenever I actually proceeded to bed to have a rest or probably steal some 40 winks, the feeling was no longer there — as though I wasn’t sick and I didn’t take my medicine. How irritating.
And this has been going for like 2-3 days and it’s kind of pissing me off. The moment I want to do something, this drowsiness would plague me until I finally give in and lie down for a rest; and that’s when I feel all alive again. This had hindered much development of the many things that I would love to do — well at least I think it did, and not my laziness.
Besides, my body is almost acting like a mini water-cycle already. So much so that I’m a major contributor to the Newater plan — I go to the toilet like every hour. And then these Newater plants will change my output into clean water for input. No, you don’t have to start thanking me for my kind gesture.
Not to mention the blocked ears (and the blocked nose). Though these aren’t side-effects of the medication (I know), but they are as irritating and I would always get all excited when either one of the ears cleared up, even for that few seconds and I hear distinct sounds; and you have no idea how heavenly that feels until you’re in my plight so don’t be too early to judge me!
I don’t think these viruses will be staying with me for too long anyway; I ought to recover soon. Oh yes, and the usual “need more rest, drink more water” things I am going to do.
P.S : Wow, it feels like 7:30PM when it’s only like 4:30PM; the clouds are all so thick and threatening.
