How do you tell?
A while back I was listening to some songs with my friends. Some chinese song was playing and then I explained how to tell if you’re in love (with someone). The explanation came in as “If you’re listening to a love song and you feel excited about a lively one, or upset about a sorrowful one, then chances are you’re in love.”
Say, if you’ve just broken up with someone who initiated one, then listening to “Purest of Pain” by Son by Four would definitely make your days into living hell.
Or in another case, if you’re having a rival who is going after the same girl as you do too, and the girl has no intention of letting either of you know who is her choice, but is going out with both and you’re so miserable trying to know who, then the best song in this scenario would be “Who do you love” by The Moffatts. Same thing here, converts your days into living hell.
I would love to fill in more examples but I haven’t been in love (either with myself or someone else) enough to cite more. That’s a pity, but you get the drift.
