RO Guild - Angels.
And so my previous Ragnarok Online guild, Angels, was disbanded last wednesday and I couldn’t be there because I had to stay back in school for WSS training.
Then I missed the new guild’s, Syn, war because I had to attend Swiss National Day dinner at the Swiss Club which I’m serving for in SIP.
That said, I missed the last war with a guild that I had been in for one and a half year, and then missed the first war with a guild that I’m likely to spend the rest of my RO life in. How memorable is that?
Throughout my RO lifetime, I had witnessed major guilds disbanding and their members going different ways to form new alliance and then fight each other. In fact, I had witnessed 3 to 4 of such incidents already. And all these while, I didn’t think that my guild, which is the by then the longest formed guild in Iris 1 server would eventually come to such an end.
Though the good news was, our guild were merely filtering some members and merging with another guild into a bigger and hopefully more organised one. Nope, no plans of fighting each other once we go into the new guild.
But alas, after that first war, conflicts occurred and everyone was unhappy with how things were in the beginning so a group of formal angels had decided to leave to join another guild and probably fight us. Ah, sweet conflict. Something that I thought would not happen to (ex-)Angels has indeed happened. Not exactly amazed, but what a pity.
But memories of Angels aren’t lost, they had a photo-taking session in memories of whoever attended after that last war. So I wasn’t there so you can’t spot me in it. For what’s worth, this is a memorable screenshot of Angels, a guild that’s level 34 and lasted the lifetime of 4 major guilds. Or technically, my home in RO.
