Refurbishment
If you’re still seeing the blue layout, hit refresh. Otherwise, I heard y’all! I know it’s boring to be looking at the same colour scheme for well over a year! Because even I am dulled by the looks of my blog!
So I made changes. Fret not, this is not version 4. This is only an attempt to rescue the sidebar of my blog from getting way too cluttered since the introduction of the untidily-styled graffiti.
The header image
The image used in the header is taken by me at Tanjong Beach at Sentosa during the previous trip.
I had wanted to include the image of the couple in the sunset but oh well, the image was way too large vertically so I had to give up ’cause I want the sun and the trees more. And since the image is only 1600px wide, I can’t maximise the entire image lest it won’t look good for large resolution such as 1600×1200. But I think the result is still great.
Some technical stuffs
I’ve stopped catering for Win/IE5.x users — they can still view, but the results won’t be the same as viewed in latest browsers. It won’t be that difficult to support these older browsers, but according to my visitors stats, I don’t see the need already. And so far, dumpsite’s version 4 drafts only give IE6 bare minimum layout and advanced features in Firefox (bugs encountered in Opera still).
I’ve also fixed the navigation bar issue when viewed in Opera 8.53 again. The previous fix I made somehow broke again in later version of Opera (perhaps I messed different versions of the dumpsite’s CSS files). Anyway, it’s now viewable in the latest version of Opera.
The ending bits
I know it’s hard to please everyone. But I do hope you like the refurbished result as much as I do. Alas, if you really can’t stand it for whatsoever reasons, feel free to change the style back to the previous one if you’re using Firefox or Opera, it’s titled “v3.2 - Classic” (if you’re on Opera, you can witness the problematic navigation bar too).
All right, if you have no ideas what I’m rumbling about, then just enjoy the layout. ;)
