Call helpdesk?
I’ve been informed by my ISP to contact my modem’s manufacturer straight for the troubles it’s given me. But looks like this manufacturer’s office has but one line to cope with the incoming calls because on several occasions I’m always transferred to a “leave-a-msg-and we’ll contact you” line — they don’t even have a queue for support, WTF! Though I hate to be queued whenever I call my ISP helpdesk, at least it’s more hopeful than the “will-get-back-to-you-when-we-feel-like-it” feeling. And let’s not even get started with e-mail support, seriously. It’s a sad thing I can’t choose the brands of free router/modem that comes along with ISP subscription, so what I can do now is just to wait for a response and whine in the meantime.
