When birthdays meet
In a span of 3 days, 2 of my friends’ were born some donkey years ago, namely Xiaoye and Eric. (Mine was lunar)
Xiaoye, 3rd August
For Xiaoye, Eric and me sprang a surprise on him in the midst of a DotA game. The plan was: we pretended to be playing DotA with him, but in actual fact, it was Eric’s brother who controlled both of our heroes while we sneaked out. Though his brother didn’t exactly do a good job (eg: leaving my hero to idle in base), we still managed to fool Xiaoye till we’d reached his house — one may argue it’s not exactly a great feat anyway.
The preparation.
So we were supposed to grab a pound cake for him, too bad the 7-11 at his house didn’t have any on sale so we settled for a pandan cake. :)
And the actual surprise. And yes the silly voice of the unsung hero belongs to yours truly.
And he really didn’t realise our surprise move at all so we were quite successful.
Eric, chalet party 4th August (actual 1st Aug)
Eric held a chalet that just ended this morning and it was fun while it lasted (it rocks when you get to eat BBQ’d stuffs when you don’t have to cook). Without fail, the birthday boy was tortured with alot of funny pranks. And being me, I simply love filming people in torment. :-)
Presenting my masterpieces:
And the actual surprise. And yes the silly voice of the unsung hero belongs to yours truly.
Beer fun, and then some.
Followed by some cold water treatment… nice.
And finally alot of spraying, and one two innocent victims.
Soon I figured I’d filmed enough, so I retired to the chalet unit — the BBQ pit was like a battle ground where you had no idea when you would be attacked from the back by some wet dudes, so it’s safer to stay away posthaste.
What followed then was a night of conversations of several topics that revolve around ghostly encounters, romance and life. I think.
Before long, the sun rose and sent us packing for home.
