The transition to a real man!
Dear readers,
By the time you’re reading this, I should be be en route to Kuala Lumpur via bus barely able to wait to go shopping bloody Pulau Tekong via ferry to begin my National Service days thanks to the last-minute enlistment notice.
However, it doesn’t take a genius to figure that this is a great chance to unload the emotional luggages that had burdened me for eons to begin a new chapter of life. I am not sure if I am truly capable of delivering what I mentioned but without trying I will never know. So, goodbye to the past chapters — can barely wait for the future now.
That said, I will only return to Singapore mainland 2 weeks later (which at time of writing I have no idea when exactly) as a new man (or as Peter said, a real man! But since I’m already one, I don’t think I’m with him, so just new man). I look forward(no, not really) to my new stage of life that will be subjected to the whims of my in-charge. Heaven forbid that I meet an unreasonable one.
Oh and by the way, this post also serves to remind you that new entries will be sparse, if any at all. A new category “We were soldiers” has been added in case I have interesting stories to share.
So feel safe sleeping from tonight onwards for I’ll be covering your asses in times of needs.
PS: Don’t forget there will be a partial lunar eclipse tonight. And watch “I am Sam” at 2230hr this coming Saturday, channel 5 — you don’t wanna miss a great show, trust me.
Yours truly,
draco
