Stardust the movie
Nothing says more about the quality of a movie than me actually wanting to buy the original DVD once it’s released. The last movie that made me felt this way was Death Note the movie. Wow, nothing says hot like Claire Danes does — now all matured compared with her previous innocent sweet-looking appearance in Romeo+Juliet 11 years ago. Ow. Yes Stardust is worth 10 points with its great cinematography, plot and most importantly its soundtracks, despite having a rather abrupt beginning. Oh, and it has some some of the best dialogue I have ever heard from a movie, even the lovely-dovely ones. ;-) Addendum: And not forgetting the waltz scene with Yvaine glowing really brightly while dancing with Tristan right after Captain Shakespeare claimed that she was glowing brighter day by day. That’s pure cinematic magic since time stopped in Big Fish.
