Sore in the zen design.

There's something fundamentally wrong with my v4(zen) design -- things don't align well to the eye-level and it's a sore. Gotta do something about it again.

Lack of update

I understand that I haven't been writing about anything other than the site's development (which is a bore to 99% of you, I know). But I seldom surf lately because of online time spent mostly on fixing things around the site, and the rest of them gaming whenever I can. And unfortunately, I'm still fine-tuning the site, so now you ... continue reading ↠

Rebooted!

Here goes: I've finally (well almost) completed version 4 of my personal homepage in time for CSS Reboot May 1st. If you're still seeing green and not shades of grey, hit Refresh till you do. If you're reading this from feeds, it's time to pay my site a visit, dude. Thanks for this event, or else I'll never be able to ... continue reading ↠

Refurbishment

If you're still seeing the blue layout, hit refresh. Otherwise, I heard y'all! I know it's boring to be looking at the same colour scheme for well over a year! Because even I am dulled by the looks of my blog! So I made changes. Fret not, this is not version 4. This is only an attempt to rescue the sidebar ... continue reading ↠

Happy Birthday blog!

Happy Birthday blog! Now the site is officially 366 days old. If you did your math right, that's a year and a day. I'm sorry that there hasn't been much story development, I'll try harder this coming year. And please send your greetings and wishes in disguise of cash, cheque or money order to yours truly. I'll accept it on behalf of ... continue reading ↠

v4.0 and some senses.

And now that this design is almost a year, and a few other reasons, I'm guessing it's time for a new layout and perhaps a new markup, read on to find out why. Be warned that this is a lot of technical and web standards, you should skip the rest of this entry if you're not entirely interested in the ... continue reading ↠

Fixed CSS bug!

I didn't include Opera when testing for any CSS display problems in this v3.2 layout so I wasn't aware of a rendering problem of the main navigational bar in the site. Now I do. So I had to look at the CSS lines responsible and then see what's ... continue reading ↠

I was bored…

... because the *coughs* private *coughs* DotA server wasn't working, Counter-Strike and Day Of Defeat servers had no-one playing in them, Ground Control II felt a bit too intensive for late night gaming, and I couldn't install Prince of Persia II, and so on... Which explains why I was stuck wondering what I could do. Considering the fact that I'm living ... continue reading ↠

Interesting discovery.

For one week since I announced my disappearance, the view rates of this page /blog/ decreased by almost 6 times. Yes that's right -- the page views that this blog page should have in a normal day were spreaded over a span of a week. And now that the date of re-appearance is here, the view rate is back to ... continue reading ↠

Meeting deadlines.

Deadlines - the horror instilled in every student in my school, including me. It seems like there's an ongoing trend of keeping projects incompleted until the last 1 or 2 weeks before deadlines and then as though they had it planned all along, everyone would rush to fill up the booking list to ensure a seat in the computer lab for ... continue reading ↠

v3.2.

Call me Microsoft(tm), but ever since I put this theme on WP1.5, I made a few changes and I think it's time to roll out version number 3.2. Let's put our hands together and cheers!

Don’t miss it!

Yup! If you're seeing this, you're looking at my v3.1 theme on WordPress 1.5 with all the comments fixed! :-) I've conquered 1.5 and I'm back, though it wasn't that hard of a journey if I had taken the time to read about the internal structure of WP instead of being lazy and taking shortcuts.
